For most of my nearly 50 years of service, a primary component has been to advocate, teach, and mentor. I focus on enabling others, especially individuals within marginalized communities, to capture a vision of themselves becoming all they are destined to be. I share what my mother and father taught me about understanding that, "Work is Your Friend," and want my audiences to leave with a mindset that says, "If he can, so can I."

Students find my journey relatable to their own, which leads to a rich dialogue and exchange.
